Founders Note for engineers
To our dedicated new generation of mechanical engineers, I'm Vijayanand Dnyandev Jagtap, and I have a story that aligns perfectly with your passion for meaningful work. In June 1993, I earned my B.E. (Production) from Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur. But my journey had its share of challenges. I remember the days of sending resumes and waiting for interviews. The struggle was real, but the determination to grow was unwavering. In February 1994, I left home for Pune, and my journey took an unconventional turn.
I walked from gate to gate in Bhosari MIDC, seeking job opportunities. Surprisingly, there were no responses from employers looking for engineers, but there were boards offering Helper positions. Without hesitation, I embraced the role of a Helper in a fabrication industry, earning a modest Rs. 30 per day. After just two months, my potential was recognized, and I was promoted to Job Inspector. In September 1996, I joined Lovejoy India Pvt. Ltd. as a Design Engineer, marking another step forward. In September 2000, I took a leap of faith by leaving my job, without another opportunity in hand, to explore new horizons.
I provided AutoCAD drawing services for two years. In October 2002, I co-founded the partnership firm "Winjoy Powertrans." Although the partnership dissolved in March 2006, it marked the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey. In March 2006, I founded "WINJOY INNOVATIVES" as a proprietorship. Through dedication and perseverance, I steered the company to significant milestones. By March 2014, we achieved an annual turnover of 1 Crore, and it continues to grow steadily, reaching 1.5 Crores as of March 2023. This journey is a testament to the power of determination and innovation. It's a reminder that passion and hard work can turn dreams into reality.
